تخرّج الأستاذ الدكتور علا محمد الكواز في كلية الطب بجامعة النهرين، ونال زمالة المجلس العراقي للاختصاصات الطبية في جراحة المسالك البولية، ثم زمالة البورد الأوروبي لجراحة المسالك البولية (FEBU). Prof. Ula M. Al-Kawaz graduated from Al-Nahrain University College of Medicine, earned the Fellowship of the Iraqi Board for Medical Specializations in Urology, and then the Fellowship of the European Board of Urology (FEBU).
يعمل أستاذاً لجراحة المسالك البولية والذكورة، ومشرفاً على الزمالة العراقية لطب الذكورة. يُجري جراحات الكلية والبروستات والمثانة، ومنها ناظور البطن وناظور الحالب والكلية المرن، ويستقبل المرضى في العيادة التخصصية للجراحة البولية والعقم في الكاظمية. He is Professor of Urology and Andrology and moderator of the Iraqi Fellowship of Andrology. He operates on the kidney, prostate and bladder, including laparoscopic surgery and flexible ureteroscopy, and sees patients at his specialist clinic for urology and infertility in Al-Kadhimiya.

متى يجب أن يراجع الزوجان بسبب تأخر الإنجاب؟When should a couple get checked for difficulty conceiving?
إذا لم يحدث الحمل بعد سنة من المحاولة المنتظمة، أو بعد ستة أشهر إذا كان عمر الزوجة فوق ٣٥ عاماً. ويُنصح بفحص الزوج والزوجة معاً.If there is no pregnancy after a year of regular trying, or after six months if the wife is over 35. Both partners should be checked together.
كيف أستعد لتحليل السائل المنوي؟How do I prepare for a semen analysis?
يُطلب عادةً الامتناع عن القذف من يومين إلى سبعة أيام قبل التحليل. اتبع تعليمات العيادة أو المختبر بدقة لتكون النتيجة صحيحة.You are usually asked to avoid ejaculation for two to seven days beforehand. Follow the clinic's or laboratory's instructions closely so the result is reliable.
هل يمكن علاج حصى الكلى من دون جراحة؟Can kidney stones be treated without surgery?
كثير من الحصى الصغيرة تنزل تلقائياً أو بمساعدة الأدوية. وعند الحاجة توجد خيارات علاجية قليلة التدخل، ويشرح لك الدكتور علا ما يناسب حالتك.Many small stones pass on their own or with medicine. When they don't, there are minimally invasive options, and Dr. Ula will explain which suits your case.
